Walking on Water had never been through a formal branding process. As a result, the organizations logo was not living up to its true potential. The WOW brand needed to be revived in order to more effectively reach this generation’s global surfing community. Walking On Water applied for CR’s Brand Aid program in order to get help.
As a Brand Aid recipient, Walking On Water got a complete brand overhaul. CR’s creative team rebirthed to the Walking on Water brand through a bright new color palette and a logo that is full of meaning. The eight side shape was chosen for the symbolic meaning of new life. Just as the organization had new life with the refreshed logo, so too are we given new life in Christ. Three bold colors were chosen to signify the trinity, in addition to WOW’s three areas of focus. Who knew an icon could say so much.
